Glen Innes Highlands Tours is a local company showcasing the best Glen Innes and the surrounding area has to offer.
Customised Kilted Tours and the unique ‘Highlands Haggis Ceremony’ are part of their tour offerings.
Tour options are flexible, depending how much time you have available to spend in our region. If you're only going to be here for a short time, you could book yourself or your group a half-day tour. And if you plan to stay a bit longer, you could even book a week-long tour.
Your kilted guide will provide you with in-depth and interesting information about the town, its buildings, the regional villages, art workshops and much more.
Contact the Glen Innes Visitor Information Centre on 02 6730 2400 to find out more.
A must-do on your kilted tour is to be guided through the magical Australian Standing Stones - the national monument to Celtic Australia, located on the hill just to the east of town in the Centennial Parklands overlooking Glen Innes.
Your guide will take you on a guided walk around the monument, sharing the history, symbolism and meaning of this solar-aligned granite stone circle and the surrounding cultural commemorations inspired by Australia’s Bicentenary and multiculturalism.
