Glen Innes Highlands Tours is a local company showcasing the best Glen Innes and the surrounding area has to offer.
Part of their tour offerings is customised Kilted Tours and the unique ‘Highlands Haggis Ceremony’.
Depending on your time here book yourself or group from a half day tour to a week-long tour of the region.
Your kilted guide will provide you with in depth and interesting information on the town, its buildings, the regional villages, art workshops and much more.
Contact the Glen Innes Visitor Information Centre on 02 6730 2400 to find out more.
A must-do on your kilted tour is to be guided through the magical Australian Standing Stones. The Australian Standing Stones is the national monument to Celtic Australia, located on the hill just to the east of town in the Centennial Parklands overlooking Glen Innes.
Your guide will take you on a personal walk around the monument, giving the history, symbolism and meaning of this solar-aligned granite stone circle and the surrounding cultural commemorations inspired by Australia’s Bicentenary and multiculturalism.
