As we navigate our way back to a new normal, we have been keeping a keen eye out for grant opportunities to support our local community to reopen, renew and regrow. We are providing a shorter and more targeted Bid Blast this month in recognition of staff availability and working arrangements during this unsettled and troubling time.
This month we feature several grants targeting small rural communities affected by the triple challenges of drought, bushfire and COVID-19. These grants are all managed under the umbrella of the Foundation for Rural and Regional Renewal (FRRR). Detailed information on each is available at www.frrr.org.au
At the same time, both Federal and State government have opened a range of COVID-19 support programs which are available ongoing to eligible businesses and communities. For an excellent summary and detailed information on each of these programs go to www.rdani.org.au
Council is currently filling a vacancy in the Grants Officer position and I hope to be able to make an announcement of a new appointment shortly.
In the meantime, if you or your organisation are looking for specific projects, then don’t be shy in sending me an email at [email protected]
