Glen Innes has a beautiful 18-hole course that is sure to provide a memorable golfing experience, perfect for both novice and low handicap players alike.
If you are an early bird, you might even enjoy the feeling of playing on your own private course, with only the resident wallabies as witness to your great shot making.
Fairways are lined with a variety of stately trees. They are beautiful – unless your ball comes to rest behind one of them.
The course measures 5,752 metres from the Members tees, and 5,155 from the Ladies tees.
Located next to the Deepwater Racecourse off the New England Highway and Torrington Road, Deepwater Golf Club is a 9-hole, 18-tee, sand greens golf course located 40km north of Glen Innes.
It is a tiny club, but there is a huge sense of comradeship among the players. All help is voluntary and an honesty system is in use.
