14th Nov - Markets in the Highlands
Markets in the Highlands is getting bigger and better each month with a fantastic array of gifts from local artisans from the New England area. Get in early for Christmas on Saturday 14 November from 10am at the old Dimmy’s building, behind Mackenzie Mall in Glen Innes.
16th Nov - 27th Nov - Glen Innes Art Gallery - Christmas Exhibition
If you are looking for that special gift and you would love to buy local, then head down to the Glen Innes Art Gallery inside the Glen Innes Library for a selection of unique arts and crafts on display.
22nd Nov - Great Southern Nights at Glen Innes Bowling Club
Aussie rocker John Swan, better known as Swanee will raise the roof at the Bowling Club with an afternoon of live music. Doors open at 1.30pm, tickets are $10 and are available to purchase at the bar or over the phone. Contact (02) 6732 1930 during club hours.
26th Nov - Christmas in the Highlands
From 5pm witness Town Hall Square transform into a Christmas Spectacular with artisan traders, food and entertainment along the centre of Grey street from Bourke through to Meade Streets. Businesses are encouraged to join in with the festivities and take advantage of the late-night trading. The official ‘Turning on the Lights’ ceremony will be held at 8pm, with plenty of food, entertainment and fun for the family. You may even see a special guest drop in as well.
26th Nov - 5th December - Red Cross Christmas Tree Exhibition
Enjoy the spectacular displays on show for the 19th Red Cross Christmas Tree Exhibition. Entry forms are available at the Visitor Information Centre as well as through Glen Innes Red Cross.
