Originally established as a community Christmas event, Christmas in the Highlands – Illuminations it is now transitioning into a major regional placemaking, cultural and visitor economy driver through successfully securing Transport NSW Open Street three-year funding (2025-2027).

This event brings together community, visitors, artists, and business in ways that uplift the spirt and showcase are incredible region and talent.
