Local Tourism & Events News This month's newsletter brings you the latest updates on tourism projects, events, and business opportunities relevant to local businesses in the tourism industry. We're midway through winter and this time of year is a great opportunity for local businesses and accommodation providers to get on board and offer some extra warmth for those seeking a winter retreat and fantastic hospitality. Recently at the Visitor Information Centre, we have been seeing many day-trippers on the weekends (mostly couples on off-peak holidays & first-time visitors). And regular snow chasers from over the border have started their weekly phone calls in the hope of seeing some falls this season. They just love the chance to wear their big jackets, beanies and scarves, and hopefully experience snow close to home! Please let us know if you are offering a new product, experience or event. Email the details and any promotional material or imagery to [email protected]. You can also upload your event or experience to the Australian Tourism Data Warehouse to leverage a larger audience of potential visitors/customers.
