It's that time of year again and we hope you'll join us in celebrating our annual Australian Celtic Festival this week, held right here in Glen Innes! In its 31st year, the festival is celebrating the Year of Scotland. Read on for all the details, get your tickets, and come to Glen Innes for a Celtic experience like no other, celebrating music, dance, art and culture. It's also the perfect time to come and see the beautiful autumn colours around the region and experience true seasonal beauty before the leaves begin to fall.
Drawing visitors from all over Australia and internationally, the annual Australian Celtic Festival is about to celebrate its 31st year and its Year of Scotland with a vibrant and action-packed program stretching across four days from Thursday 4 to Sunday 7 May 2023. We are excited to welcome international guests Paul Anderson & Finlay Wilson from Scotland, and Clan Celtica from New Zealand, as well as many crowd favourites returning to the stages, such as Mad Kelpie Playdate, Kejafi, Moreton Celtic Fiddle Club, Limerick, Highlander and The Bushwackers, amongst others. The festival is located at the Australian Standing Stones National Celtic Monument in Glen Innes and offers something for everyone...

Did you know Glen Innes has its very own registered tartan? Designed by Peter Maxwell Bruce and Alexander L Ritchie, it is included in the official Tartan Registry of the National Records of Scotland. Fri 19 May 4.00pm Australian Standing Stones, Watson's Drive, Glen Innes A flag-lowering ceremony to honour St Yve - the Patron Saint of Brittany, one of the acknowledged Celtic nations in Glen Innes. Free entry. Raffle will be held.
