At 1,062m above sea level, Glen Innes is the highest, large town in Australia (population over 2,500), with nearby hills rising to 1,512m at Ben Lomond.
This makes for a perpetually changing landscape, no humidity, rarity of hot summer days and the occasional snow fall. With distinct seasonal changes the Glen Innes Highlands climate offers a unique experience no matter the time of year.
